A woman with a bundle of firewood on her back is selling it in the refugee camps. Refugees are not allowed to fetch firewood from the forest so they have to buy it- the brickettes provided are not sufficient for cooking. Til Maya / PhotoVoice / LWF
Our skills and education are not given any value by other people. We are ill treated by people outside the camps.

In the camps we have a Refugee Women Forum. They combine their skills and work together successfully combining different products from different kinds of raw materials.

People have had to learn how to sustain their lives in the camps. Women are equally as skilled as the men. They have to earn extra money because what we are given is not sufficient to survive on. Poonam / PhotoVoice / LWF
