The Child Creation Newspaper
Newspaper articles taken from The Child Creation. Young people in the camps ran their own newspaper from 2001-2009. The paper was published monthly and 2000 copies were distributed in the camps and to refugees living in Nepal and India. The young reporters cover a range of issues including political developments, camp news and activities, features on social issues affecting young people in the camps and educational articles. The paper also contains announcements, condolences, jokes and riddles but for many of the young people it is the poetry section that is the most popular.
